It sure did. The last year of the single wiper blade was 83. The single 
blade wiper can be seen on both the MK-I and MK-II models! (Pretty cool, 
huh? yah, I know..)

Hmm, you've seen the A3 grill on the Scirocco? Now that I think about 
it, all that is neededis the center section from it. Hmm. I have a 
couple broken A3 (GLO and stock) grills that I could look at maybe 
doing. Interesting! Very!
