Yes, it's a black dye to restore the bumpers and other plastics on 
the car.  I got it at the dealer, it was pretty cheap.  If memory 
serves, it was like $7.  It lasts for several applications and comes 
in a bottle with an applicator similar to the old liquid shoe 
polishes.  Very easy to work with and holds up well.  I did mine 
about 7 months ago and redid them about a month ago.  It's appearing 
that the more you use it, the longer it lasts before needing a touch 
up.

I saw one with 1/2 gray and 1/2 black and wondered which was the 
correct color.  I figured that one of the pieces was replaced, but 
couldn't figure which was the original :)

At least now knowing it should be black I can be more aggresive in 
getting mine back to black.  I just want to keep it as close to stock 
as possible.  Thanks for the reply.
