I never thought about the collision protection actually. I wanted a set of
euro bumpers, but now that i think about it, i dont.
I've backed into a 2 week old acura integra (my first 3 weeks of driving)
and did 2000 bucks worth of damage to him.
I got a small scratch on the rear bumper. Not even noticable. A pretty big
jolt too.
Some woman rear ended me on a yield, and again, not even a scratch on my
bumper, but it bent up her licence plate, bracket, and messed her bumper a
little. It was a approx 93-4 corolla. I just told her to forget about it, i
didn't care, and it wasn't my fault.
These US bumpers are beefy shit!
