How about a local junkyard for any pre-85 Jetta GLI or Cabriolet. They
came stock with oil pressure gauge and sender. The sender replaces your
sender on the driver side of the engine so it is easy.

I would recommend finding a 10bar gauge --instead of a 5bar. Some
Cabriolets came stock with a 10bar gauge. The 5bar gauge is not enough
at cold temps and startups, when the pressure is around 6-8bar. If you
look around junkyards and can't find them: call any of the standard
places (New Dimensions, Rapid Parts, etc.) and do mail order. Gauge is
around $28, same for the sender.
