  I need A/C also, and in the Winter I will need heat.....

   My entire heating and cooling system (FAN controls) just went out
 completely.   It has done this before, but I only had to replace the switch
 for everything to start working fine again....
   This time I also replaced the switch but it still doesn't work, and 
 neither does my oil temperature gauge.  When I turn the fan switch my oil
 temperature gauge shorts out to ZERO....or the needle jumps all the way back
 to the beginning...
  I checked the fuse box and the fuse is ok, but I really don't understand
 the connection between the heating/cooling fan switch and the Oil 
 temperature gauge - unless they are tied into the same circuit....

  Any ideas would be appreciated before I turn it over to a shop mechanic...
 I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to resort to that....
