16v turbo?

I was just daydreaming again...

Has anyone heard of such a beast?  Can the CR on a 16v be lowered to
accomodate a turbo?  The blocks are the same, right?  So exhaust
manifold should bolt right up?  I figured since 16Vs like to rev high
anyway, it should be well suited for a turbo...
