Fender molding

Hello Watercoolers:

I found a passenger side fender for my car today in a boneyard. It is even
the same color as my '87 Scirocco 8V, black. One problem, the moulding is
different from the one on my car. The one on my car appears smaller.

Is this an easy thing to remove, and replace with my old moulding? What
type of glue would I use to attach the new moulding? Finally, how do I
remove the present moulding without scratching the fender?

Any help is truly appreciated.
