   Check tension on the belt.  If tight, take the alternator to a local
parts place that can check it for free.  Have em check it and if bad,
check brushes, if they are worn completely, you can replace them.  
Voltage regulator could be shot which has happened to me before.  Or, 
you can upgrade to 90 amp right then and there.
