Hi Murari,
The speedo removal is actually not that difficult once someone who's
done it, tells you how, as in my case. The easiest way is to remove all
of the trays under the speedo. Remove the fuse tray and the tray to the
right of it, and then remove the tray that covers the bottom of the
speedo. There are two screws for this one. 1 is by the hood opener
thingy and the other is on the right, holding it to the center console.
Then there are four connectors which most likely will break when you
re3move them. I only saved one and had to go to the dealer and pay
$1.40 each for new ones! Alas, there is no other way. The connectors
are those round caps that you see under there. I just pryed with a
screw driver and used the leverage of the tray itself as well. It's
pretty flexible. Then it's just a matter of sliding it out. One thing
I've learned while working on cars, especially in the interior, is to
remove EVERYTHING that could be or is in the way. It always makes the
job quicker in the long run. Good luck!
