I'm glad you mention this.  I've been thinking about this a lot
lately.  It seems like to me that you waste so much money buying a
new car for the fact that the car's value drops dramatically as soon
as you drive it away, which everyone knows.  So I'm thinking, I'll
buy a car a year or two old with no more that 15k on it, which would
only take me about 6 months to rack if I bought it new...and I'd 
be saving at least $1500 based on a $17,000 to $20,000 car.  I'd
like to hear some opinions on this...anyone?  I'm moving to the 
States in June and I'm gonna need to get a car because my 'rocc
is German spec.  ($6000 to convert and ship including import
taxes!  YIKES!).
