Harry,
Yes, all the transmissions are interchangable. While you are at it, 
please change the small seal AND bushing inside the input shaft. 
(Arround the clutch release rod) These are often overlooked and 
destroy many a clutch. (Just incase you did not already know) To 
remove the bushing, I remove the fifth gear housing, and gently drive 
a long 3/8" rod down the input shaft with a small hammer.
