Since k-jetronic injection is lead by air pressure mainly, a vacuum leak
can easily do all kinds of things with idle. 
Now the brakes are amplified using vacum and are connected with the
injection airing system. (check it out from under the hood - there's a hose
going from the big round brake thing to the air intake - SORRY - I don't
know the english words, estonian only!)
