The only solution to that kind of mentality is find a car you like, and
learn everything you can about it, so you can do most or all the repairs
or service yourself.  And if you can't, at least you can tell people
like that "you're full of shiite"  As for your choice of car, looks like
you have exquisite taste in automobiles already.
