Why not just get rid of power steering and go with manual - none of my
Sciroccos ever had power steering - if the powering steering on my Golf
GT ever goes -  I'll convert that to manual as well.

It'd sure save a lot of hassle (hell, my 115lb girlfriend drives her 1978
Scirocco - manual steering - no probs)

think about it  . . .

Ryan, the current issue Sport Compact Car has a rallye car with that
setup.  They say only that it is a pump from a Japanese import.  Hope
this helps!
