Not a motor...but a supercharger...slightly larger than the "G60" found on
the 1990-1992 US Corrados. "G" refers to "G-Lader", VW's incarnation of the
supercharger (via some long since departed Italian). "60" & "70" refers to
the size of the impeller blades (in mm)... if memory serves. Judging by the
questionable long term reliability of the G60 and the high replacement cost
(~1900 US) I'd steer clear of any of the "G" series. Check out
