gas tank filler tube

I'm leaking gas from the hose that connects the filler neck to the tank.
It looks like the clamp has had it and I was wondering how to go about
changing it?  Any special precautions?

I think I'll run most of my gas out then drain the little that is left
then replace it with new hose and clamp.  Is it as simple as that or am I
looking at more work?  Any help is appreciated (ahia)
