Warped rotors. get them turned, it will fix it. (Local machine shop,
maybe $20.)

Classic VW tranny. Try to shift into reverse slower. Sometimes it helps
to lessen the thump.

Sounds like the classic switch not connecting the circuit OR the wires
along the way have been cut. Id try to remove and clean the contacts on
the stalk first and see if you can make it work that way. Otherwise you
will need to check the entire circuit for power.

I dunno fer sure. You might need the whole felt channel kit. it could be
as easy as removing the inside door panel and tightening the 2 bolts on
the lift bracket. Check it!

Suspension pieces are shot. You probably need new shocks, strut bearings
ect. Nasty tires also give alot of road feedback.
