On the back of any 2.0 (assuming it not a bored out 1.8) there is a cast
"2.0" in the back of the block. Same with a 1.8 (no it doesnt say 2.0).
Or you could go by the engine code on the front of the block
PL is a 1.8 16v
3A(I think, something like that) is a 2.0 16v
