With all the talk about CV's and suspension, why not go to the junk yard 
and pull off a front spindle.  Secure it in a vice and spin it to clean 
up the rims.  Spin that sucker by hand and it will go a for a while. The 
only reason to jack up the car then would be to take off the wheel...
