Rick, 
        If you want reliability, stick with SACHS, which is the original
manufacturer for VW and many other german car manufacturers.  There are a
few options that you can consider.  I do believe you can fit the 210mm
clutch to your car, I cannot recall at the moment.  This would help give a
bit more grip if you wish to upgrade a small bit.  also, you might want to
get the 200mm sport clutch, if you really wnat to race.  Ihave this one on
my car, and I can launch at a higher rpm without fear of ruining it.  Quite
fun!  Only one drawback on this one.  On cold mornings, you do get a
sluggish start, unless you rev it higher at first until it warms up.  No
biggie....
