Sounds like poor R&D on thier part. It seems to me it would be easier to
make it out of one piece of carpet for the front and one for tha back. I
have gone out and bought carpet from a store and used the origional carpet
as my template. I cut it with about 3" added to the size of the carpet to
allow for bends and stretching ect. After about a month, the carpet was
molded and fits great. (This wasnt in my Scirocco, unfortunately.) I did
have to cut and sew in a few places but done right, you cant tell its been
cut. I think I paid $20 for 6'X6' of carpet.
