OT: Ipod Classic



You're not SOL, just buy a cable that's designed to work with the new  
ipods - I hate to say it: but duh.

If you already own a video cable for older video capable ipods, oh  
well I suppose.  Why did this happen?  No concrete idea really.  Was  
it a quality issue with some 3rd party devices that Apple wanted to  
escape?  Was it necessary for the content owners so Apple could give  
them a kick-back? (Probably).
