So what is the advantage of Alternator --> Starter -->Battery? I saw that on the 84 parts car, But in mine right now there is Battery to starter.....Oh and the ingnition to battery part to, oh by way of fuse box to kill switch to ignition....
   
  so recap:
  Fuse box-->kill switch-->ignition-->starter-->battery and back again if i have traced it correctlly

That seems weird.

My 16v has alternator to starter, starter to battery.

Still have charging issues under load.

Gotta run for a plane.
