Dyno Day Quiz!!!!

Not like I'm any expert at all, but any MBC I've tried has had a boost spike. Actually more of an overboost hill before the boost is under control. There must be some sort of lag factor. Maybe installing the MBC right at the wastegate would reduce the spike.

I know some aftermarket engine management system have boost control through a PWM solenoid. They seem to be most effective when run open loop. Both the DTA and Megasquirt had overboost/spike issues when trying to run closed loop although they may have solved that by now.

You definitely need a remap. Richer than 10:1 is just way off the mark. Too bad you can't tune the thing yourself considering that you have a WO2.
Even at 205 Hp that's got to be a hoot in a lightweight MK I!
