Foxx,

I used a 16v pressure plate/8v disc when I was towing like a madman w/
one of my ABA Sciroccos a while back. I had no problems with that
setup over several thousand miles, and many trips to the U.S. to haul
back Sciroccos and Caddies... Just take it easy when you take off,
but once you get going you shouldn't have any problems. I regularly
hummed along at 75-90 mph, climbed (east coast) mountains, and never
once noticed the clutch slipping...

Later,

Mark.
