Ok either the list is quiet or I'm not getting anything again



Well I remember some debate on here about 1.8t heads and such with 16v and swapping.  Last night I was just messing around with an 020 tranny trying to get the .75 gear out of it. I'm waiting for the 1.8t AEB head back from the machinist so my 99 Passat project is sitting.... and I get a wild hair thinking I remember someone saying the 1.8t fuel rail works in the 16v intake with new cups, so I pulled my rail and checked it against a 16V.  Great match up!  That means when I fab up my new 16v short runner manifold I can use a 1.8t fuel rail(since I have a spare)...Nice. 8-) (doing the happy dance!!!)

Ok here's another debate I've gotten into recently....G12 or C12 coolant or what ever it's called vs the Green stuff for my 1.8t.

Anybody got any input on this?  I'm inclined to flush out the rest of the G12 ,since I've pulled the head and when I reassemble it, just run the green stuff.

Any input?  is this even making it to the list?
