SOT - Hayabusa in a Mk1 Golf

I saw this last night in a thread in another VW forum.  I was a bit surprised that the Hayabusa engine got the striped down MK1 going as quick as it didn't.   Most motorcycle engines have great HP ratings but suck on Torque ratings.
