magic smoke

The date stamp on the relay was 2-85. I figure it just.... died.
Going from the 16v to the 8's a bit depressing ;)

I actually told a customer that recently--electrons and all that was a bunch of BS. It all really works on smoke and when you release the magic smoke... well you know.

They guy I was with from my company almost blew a fuse when I said that. And the customer sounded like they were buying it. LOL

More money than sense.

I straightened them out but it was pretty damn funny.

Sorry to hear about your car but what cause it to burn anyway? A switch/fuse combo isn't going to do much good if there is something else causing failures.

Cause? Fuel pump relay burned up and melted the fuse box. Its a dealer item only (damn) so I bypassed the relay with a fuse and switch.

Hopefully, I'll be right back after a test run to the autoparts store....
