Hey, list.

I've been here the whole time, just not postin' too much. Amazingly, I
have every scirocco list email ever sent since 1/21/05 - so - that's a
few posts right there! (it's about 500mb)

I have my car on Megasquirt and Spark now. I just got a wideband
oxygen sensor (Innovate LC-1) to help me tune it better.

It's pretty easy to tune though - I'd drive it to cincy right now!

I removed the old CIS distributor. It had mechanical and Vacuum
advance - the mechanical part is two centrifugal counterweights in the
middle of it.

Megasquirt replaces that with an electronic system. I uses engine
vacuum from a MAP sensor (Vacuum), and RPM (Mechanical)  to base the
advance. Which, when you think about it, it's exactly the same as the
old CIS one, just adjustable!!

I'm about to put a Fox intake manifold on, and a Scirocco 16v throttle
cable and bracket, so that I can run a Corrado valve cover.
