help needed for a buddy(87 16v)

scirocco's are so troublesome. Just sell it to me 8-)
Really though I had one just sputter to a stop while driving once and 
wouldn't restart...turned out to be the O2 sensor.Unplugged it and ran fine. 
Lean, but fine. 8-)
It could be alot of things.  I'd start by spraying some starter fluid thru 
it and see if it tries to start or still just turns over.  That would help 
you start looking either at fuel or electrical....(probably electrical since 
it's a VW)

BTW did I mention that I'm beginning to hate VW wiring!!!! My #$#% DD Jetta 
is acting up again.  Probably another wire problem.....
