Had the day off, so I decided to bum around a bit.  It was nice out, so 
I dug out Sarge, my '88, and took him for a spin (last time either of my 
Rocs were out was in October).  Damn, I like that car.  I can't wait for 
decent weather so it can resume DD responsibilities.  Took a little road 
trip down to the local VW/Audi good guys, Rich will do my wheel bearings 
for $250.  I was expecting more, so I'm pleased.  Swung by my storage 
shed to look for a caliper for my '81.  Dug and dug and dug, and found 
my spares.  The best part?  The one I needed still had a bleeder in it, 
and IT CAME OUT!!!!  It was obviously replaced in the past, it was 
English vs. metric, and someone had drilled out a bigger hole and added 
an adapter.  Stuck a C clamp on the piston, went in nice and smooth, and 
clear brake fluid came out, so I think it's all good!!  Might get to 
drive the '81 this weekend, after the caliper surgery.
All in all, a decent day.  Even got to return a flash drive I found in a 
snow bank to the student it belongs to at the local college.
