More car-nundrems: Electrical/why no starter?

The starter grounds through the casing, right? Maybe try jumpering the
casing to ground it. Double check the wires on the starter, the small ones,
that was the source of the flaky starts on my 16V, cracked insulation that
looked okay on first inspection, maybe yours is beyond that stage? though
you said you had voltage there, right? What about that woven strap on the
starter, they get ripped up sometimes. You said it was new though. The
Cathy rule that the new one is also crap? Shutting up now.
