Those are huge gears for any bike, especially a mountain bike!

What cassette, and how many speeds?

Was the 46 the original big gear?

Oh yeah, I have an old Specialized Mountain bike with 1.5" City Slickers
with front 46 + 54 and rear 10-22 gears to zoom around town here!
