dont go to jiffy lube!

Wait a minute- you have to lower the gas tank to replace the fuel filter on a Jeep???

Did anybody else catch that?

I don't imagine this is a surprise to anybody.
Shoddy work or no work. Either way every occasion where somebody else worked
on my car was a dissappointment with only one or two exceptions.
I can not tell you the number of times that people I know, in particular
females presumably because they know nothing about cars, have been bent over
by a repair shop.
I was recently quoted a $2000 repair bill on my Audi that cost me all of
$450 in parts!
Considering the $110/hr rate at the Audi dealer it's cheaper in the long run
to buy the tools and learn how to use them.
