Rose's nervous disorder

Well rose is down again.So just to bring everyone up to date it seems that Chuck in his haste to get ready for Cincy left the ignition on  long enough to completely discharge the Bat.After a jump start everything seemed to be Okay.NOT!  About 1800 miles later while at the Gathering of the Clan Rose quite.Stopped dead on the side of the road.So I got a tow job from Daun. After a diagnosis by everyone a new coil was installed and everything was fine.NOT! We drove home ,1200miles with no incidents.Because I was unhappy with the performance of Rose She was torn down as soon as we got home.I located top dead center and marked the fly wheel.Cleaned the corrosion out of the cap set the points fire her up set thetiming and went for a 10 plus mile test drive.Great everything works perfectly NOT.I parked rose and decided to wash off some of the Cincy trip.Jumped in started up drove about 20ft and Rose expired!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got off of the phone with MSD, the manufactures of Rose's ignition control.The MSD box is on the way for repair tomorrow.
It seems that there is a 14day turnaround so its time for some serious maintenance
  The dist wobbles while the engine is running which of course effects the dwell.I have changed the Dist with the same effect.I did use the same drive gear on the other dist.This is on a ABA block so I'm not real familiar with what is happening.I open to suggestions .Maybe a oil pump drive is bent?
