OT: Slow mail day musings

Greg,

I am so glad that you have emailed with such profound queries. I find myself wondering about the shoes quite often, but the mail is just a matter on its own merit. Unlike you I have been rather busy looking at many different cases of breast cancer with such intensity that my eyes hurt!..... I have to keep taking mental and eye rests as looking at the screen is becoming stressful, both in content matter as well as in long focal attention.

Now, If I could figure out why people look at the numbers on the counter of the elevator rather than saying hi to each whiloe in the elevator that would make my life better..... you see I have to use the elevator quite a lot.... I am on the 8th floor and i try to be friendly, but I think most people may take me for a freak for saying hi! or complementing their button pushing technique........

  Thank you again Greg,

  El T

It's slow today, both here on the list and at work.

Did you ever notice the left shoe getting broken in a little faster?
I did, I was wearing newish leather shoes - not sneakers, and noticed
the left shoe had more creases in it than the right. I chalk that up
to using the clutch pedal.

Also - when international mail is sent, how do the countries on the
other end get paid? I'm not talking sending UPS or FedEx, but iss you
use USPS to mail something internationally.... I'm just curious how
the 'other end' gets paid.

Ok, now that I've got that off my chest I can go back to work.

GP
