Brake confusion



I've always just popped the ass end up on some jackstands, one click on the
handle - wheel should turn freely, the same as when the handle's released.
Two clicks- there should be some resistance, three clicks, you should't be
able to turn the wheel at all (which will enable that smoky, slick warming
burnout you're secretly desiring, oh, did I say that out loud?). Keep
moving those nuts on the handle end of the cable adjustment till you get
that result. I've only ever done it with fluid in the system, properly
bled. I expect the caliper pistons need to be gently helped into place by
setting them with gentle pedal pressure first.
