That's funny as hell! Not the part that you can't drive the Callaway,
that's just not fair. See, if VW would just give ME a hunk of that
contingency money, that Callaway could be the "Official pace car of MY
DRIVEWAY". With that hot GTI as "Official winter pace car".

Kids plus money, it always ends up under zero. BSc + daughter is the killer
for me right now, once she's done, well, maybe it'll be serious playtime.
As for the daughters thing, maybe you'll get one like me (lord help you).
Present her with Barbies and Hot Wheels early, and if it's all about the
Hot Wheels, get her some tools. And the girls are sometimes slow to warm to
the whole VW thing (well, MOST girls like VW Things, that's not what I
mean, that could be the "Official Ugly Vehicle of my driveway" any day of
the week...but I digress...)

Anyway, my daughter too wanted a Cabriolet, her pick was the very feminine
white on white on white, an 88. Which was her first car, and while driving
it daily, she grew to detest it more and more as she got stranded more and
more. (It WAS a mean little bitch when we first got it) She saved up and is
still making payments on a "reliable" Focus to replace it, and for the time
she's had it, it's been VERY reliable except for the time when she Tboned a
Cavailier with it (thereby saving the life of the Cabby, which in the
meantime I'd decided I wanted to keep). Anyway, despite the good run she's
had with the Focus, she HATES it, and wanted the Cabby back "so she could
have some joy in her life" (her words), and all she wants now is to sell
the Fuckus and buy a City Jetta. So see, the moral of this long story is
that there is hope for girls and VWs. Not like my son who has VW bodies
strewn everywhere, his addiction is pretty obvious, though before long
Julie may have more running VWs.
Maybe "Charger girl" is the one, she sounds like one I'd get along with
just fine. Name the new one Amabel Ruth, for my grandma, she was a hell of
a tomboy, and good thing, she ended up running the farm alone quite early.
Awesome woman. GL with the baby too eh?
