I got to town and got the plate for the Cabby, and the Bug's tire repaired.
Then it was into the garage, and Klaus tried to start, but won't quite stay
running (first time he's fired up on MS though), so we'll see where I get
to with that tomorrow. But there were no leaks or fires, so that's good at
this point. I put his "good" rubber back on, and washed the winter out of
the various cracks and crevices on the daily, that was a bit of a job.
Right now Adam (my son) keeps waking up and asking me if I have his tranny
in yet, it's pouring out gear oil, so that'll be on the books for tomorrow
I expect, but Klaus has priority. He won't need much help with the tranny
anyway, but a second set of hands is always good. (the donor's already on
the floor at least)
And he came home with a rather exciting new addition to the fleet on order.
How does 2.9lbs per Hp sound? (yeah, crunch the numbers on your Rocco and
it won't be too close, I'm getting 15.7 for my 16V) Yeah, 150hp in a 435 lb
sled. Pretty scary little toy, can't wait to give that a spin. Yeesh!!
Pretty good day though, and was it ever nice out.
