Mid life crisis present to self.....

Deathproof was supposed to be about a Scirocco but Quenten is a
lightweight and couldn't match the budget of the average .org'er.  So
he SETTLED for the other car.  Kinda like Heartbreak Ridge was
supposed to be about the 82nd Airborne, but the Army was crying about
Eastwoods past and the Marines stepped in for the free recruiting.

Why does Hollywood have to fuck it up.  Last Hollywood Scirocco
sighting was in Shaun of the Dead and Jarhead.  Jarhead consequently
was supposed to be about a Sailor cause we (or at least I formerly was
a sailor) kicked ass.  Then we heard Jake whatshisname was going to be
in it and they wouldn't budge on the name sp we handed it off to the
branch formerly known as "Uncle Sam's Misguided Children"--before that
kindler gentler touchy feely shit.  Not to mention when you call
sailors "Jarhead" we consider that an insult and bomb you.
