4 sale: scirocco 2 zender wind splits

OK, so now I know what they are.  Next question:  What do they do?  It looks like they would increase downforce on the hood and windshield while encouraging the airflow to separate as it spills over the sides.  I'm guessing it would increase drag a bit while increasing downforce a bit.  Anybody have any real data on this sort of thing?
