manual R&P Q's

The PS rack ratio is very close to the Autotech sport gear ratio...

A drained and plugged PS rack, used as a manual rack is a cheaper option,
but it's not practical for daily driving, because it's much harder to turn
the wheel. Not as bad as a PS rack when your power steering gives out, but
it's still pretty bad.

Subject: manual R&P Q's

hey everyone,

i just got my *new* manual R&P from G.A.P. the other day. my Dad and I were
discussing it, and apparently with the manual it takes more turns Lock to
lock. is there any way i can reduce this other than Autotech's
http://www.autotech.com/prod_susp_stracks.htm 300$ unit?
also how much turning, lock to lock is required for the manual R&P from P/S
one?
