On I've only ever had Budwiser used, it was an avionics tech that applied
it, so he must know what he's doing. (BTW, that firstborn is still for sale
:) )  Bud makes a good threadlocker too (tough to dissassemble old Dell
here when I repaired him). Yeah, stick with non beverage-grade alcohol.
