16V Instrument cluster without upshift light (part 2)

Just to muddy the picture somewhat, my 8V 84 Wolfsburg did come from the factory with an MFA (and an upshift light that conveniently does not work!)
OTOH, maybe you were talking about 16V clusters and in that case all I know is that my 16V doesn't have an MFA.
