Ouch! $$$ Lesson learned about tires.



Yep I'm betting your right. I'm not sure on these rims for offset. I'm 
guessing they are more offset than orig rims. If the rims are striking the 
fenders on the outside then it's too much offset right?  That means my rims 
are more offset to have the tires strike on the outside against the fender 
wells. They are rubbing right at the outside edge of the tread.

Anybody know who refinishes rims decent and cheap?  Thinking now I might 
refinish an old pair of spoke type ralley rims(the other factory ones other 
than teardrops that were kinda common on sciroccos).

I'm thinking now they would fit fine on a set of tear drops.  They strike 
the fenders
