It is done!  Finally finished the Axle/CV replacement on the Volks Weenie 86 Jetta GLI

Yes the ball joints do have to be removed on driver side to get clearance.  It's still a crappy job. Have to pry quite a bit to get the ball joints out.  A job I don't want to do again anytime soon!!!

Anyway. the daily driver is back on the road and next weekend I can give my rocco my attention and fix some much needed little annoying things. ie passanger side power window, radio and sunroof.
