Fuel Hose - Hi vs Standard

Rob,
Just finished installing a plastic box(resevior) today. I'm not sure that
you would need the injector hoses going down from the tank, but let me share
my little mishap...
I installed regular fuel line from the resevior to the fuel pump; replacing
the question mark shaped gas line with the hoses on both ends. It kinked
and caused me another day of agravation hunting down the problem. I ended
up replacing it with fuel injector line and now it's fine.
I would say regular fuel line would work, but the injector line is less
likely to get pinched because it's got alittle more structure. So, if I were
going to dig around in there and didn't want to take a chance of being back
there I'd fork out the extra $4-$10 and use the injector line.

I do think the regular line would work. I'm just coming off a bad
experience.

Cheers and Good luck
David

Subject: Fuel Hose - Hi vs Standard

Does anyone know when replacing the fuel hoses between the in-tank pump and
the plastic fuel reservoir, do you need to use high pressure fuel injector
hose or will standard fuel hose do it? This is prior to the under-car fuel
pump.

Thanks,
Rob
