MK1 Sway Bar install question.

So for all those MK1 owners out there:

I have a set of old 16V sways lying around, so I figured they would be 
fine for the mk1, considering its weight, etc.  So the only question I 
have is this:

>From a quick look under the mk1, it looks like the fuel lines are in the 
way of the sway bar mounting points. 

If I remove the rear mounting point for the control arm, and install the 
one that has the seat for the swaybar bushing - What do I do with the fuel 
lines that are currently in that spot?

Anyone have any pictures of their installed sway ?
