Mk II Air Conditioning?

Anyone know anything about WORKING 16v A/C?

Mine does - it's just that the compressor seems to cycle more often than it needs to.  The pressure is 
good; a buddy thought that it was the pressure switches, which I know are in the line by the high-
pressure port.

He said on other cars, those switches are valved, so that you can remove them without evacuating the 
system.  Is this true?

Does anyone know where you can get new ones, or anyone got a set from an A/C delete?  I'm thinking 
Don Walters, you took out A/C?
