After the rain stopped I went out and washed the nearly empty engine bay. Purple Power, a brass brush AND a tooth brush. Man with out the 25 years of crud it fairly shines! You are the only people I know that would under stand the tooth brush bit. Thank you :)

I treated any rusty spots and moved to stripping the passenger door. Damn. Rust near the mirror goes all the way through. Just spot rust else where. But damn.

Now how in hell do you get the pass side air box screw out? The rain tray is stripped and ready, but for the one screw holding the big box in place....

Pulled the rear section of carpet in the cabin and..... Wait for it. Rust along the running board. Again... Damn...

I'll strip the rest of the carpet and air box (once I get the damn screw out) and see what I have to contend with.

If some one requests I can do a photo shoot of the inside and rocker panel repairs. Glad I did get the real thing.

Now off the the shower with dish soap and a scrubby pad. A really poor way to exfoliate, but it works :)
